Here is my friend, Bonnie. She loves to wear her gloves while she reads :)
Here are some gloves I made recently. I decided to try out a new strip design across the center.

More gloves for my friends
These gloves were made for a lady who plays the banjo! She has arthritis on her hands and will be using these to keep her hands warm when she goes to her gigs on cold nights.
I just finished these black gloves and decided to decorate them with rhinestones. I think they came out pretty cute!

I made these purple gloves especially for my friend who loves to read. My Finger-less gloves are perfect for wearing while you read books, since you can easily turn the pages without having to take your gloves off. My friend modeled them for me while she was reading and I'll be putting her pictures up soon.

Headbands & Matching Fingerless Gloves
In addition to my fingerless glove projects, I have been making headbands. The headbands look really cute and in order to show you I've asked a couple of my friends to model them.
I also put beads on the headbands and can make them in any color, just ask if you want one!

Customizable Fingerless Gloves
I love to add cute little touches to my gloves!! Lately, I've been adding cute little butterfly beads which I think are really adorable. I can add any type of beading to the gloves and can customize them to look how you want. If you have any special requests, let me know and I'll see what I can do for you!
Take a look below to see some different sizes, colors and beading samples.
Convenient Fingerless Gloves
I've asked some of my friends to model my gloves as they perform their daily tasks. Personally, I know that I have issues with doing A LOT of things while wearing bulky gloves, but you can kiss those issues goodbye when you get yourself a pair of these!!
As you can see, using your cell phone is made easy with finger-less gloves! Your fingers are completely free to play games, check email, dial a number, whatever! And for all you iPhone users, the screen will have no issues recognizing your fingers touch since these gloves do not cover the fingers!!
Not only are they amazing for cell phone use, but they make it 10 times easier to find something in your purse or bag! You can actually feel what's in your bag without having to take off your wristy.
Remember how impossible it is to open up a coke can with gloves on? Not with these!!
Imagine being able to keep your hands warm while typing on the computer! How many times have you pressed the wrong keys from the bulky gloves getting in the way? Haha well don't expect that to happen anymore once you get yourself a pair of these. They are the best thing that's happened to anyone who has to type all day in a freezing office.

Fingerless Gloves for Children
These gloves are perfect for children. As you can see, they don't get in the way while riding scooters and believe it or not, they keep hands very warm which makes them perfect for riding around outside in the cold!!

me, myself and my projects
I want to start off my blog by introducing myself and my work. Please stay tuned, I will be posting pictures of my finger less gloves very soon.
My projects: After my regular work hours, I love to relax my body and mind as well as utilize that time to work on creative and useful projects for my family and friends. Knitting has become one of my all time favorite hobbies lately. I first started making colorful finger-less gloves and headbands as gifts for my friends and their children. They gave me great compliments! My neighbors and coworkers would see me knitting during my spare time and were also very impressed with my work. They even suggested that I start selling them. So I decided to go ahead and give it a shot and so far I've sold quite a few!
I would love to thank my husband who came up with the name "Busy Fingers" for my projects, and my daughter who helped me by creating this blog; thank God she is a web developer and much better at these things than I am :)
Myself: I recently turned 50 and apart from knitting I enjoy reading very much. Reading is my other source of comfort after a long day of work, and helps me broaden my mind and knowledge. I believe that I am helping my brain to become stronger by stimulating it with interesting reading materials. At my age, knitting and reading cause my eyes to become very tired so I make sure to take a lot of breaks and head to the nearby gym known as "Quantom Fitness". I have been trying very hard to exercise for about an hour twice a week.
I believe that we are all born with many abilities, we just need to find them by trying things out.
